Looks like I'm not the only one loving Mark's recent appearances on Studio 60; even the crankypantses over at Television Without Pity are pretty much unanimously hailing Mark as the Second Coming, the Savior that this show has been waiting for, and goggling and cooing over his every bitty line as if they were as Mark-loving as, well, me.

t's difficult to express how much I am LOVING seeing Mark on Studio
60. His character is intriguing, sad, intelligent. Counterintuitive to
and paradoxically perfect for a comedy writer. I'm liking that they
have to start from the ground up with the writing staff and are
acknowledging how unfunny the sketches have been. I like that they're
not making us suffer THROUGH the sketches.

Oh please, oh please, let there be more Mark-written scripts and
Mark-acted episodes on this show.
