Our little bugling has passed on some pictures she found procured of Dave and his Lady Love at the Austin Powers Goldmember premiere. I think these pictures are especially beautiful. I put them here.
Among other items of possible interest (TWITCH CITY!), from Dec 24 - Jan 5, the exhibition called "Canadian Comedy: The Lorne Michaels Collection" is screening the documentary:
In 1989 Michaels signed on as executive producer of a new CBC sketch comedy show, The Kids in the Hall, which carried on that peculiarly Canadian strain of comedy that exalts finely detailed character work over the more satirical, political thrust of American comedy, but pushed it to ever more bizarre, sometimes perverse extremes. The concert documentary Same Guys, New Dresses presents an irreverent and sometimes painfully intimate look at the Kids as they embark on their triumphant 2000 reunion tour, grappling with long-standing resentments, production delays, laser eye surgery, and an uncooperative robot dog.
this is a weblog devoted to comedy troupe kids in the hall. are you a KITH fan? tend to be good at finding things of notifiable content? want to join? drop me an email! (it may take a while, but i'll get to it)
